With an epic piano introduction that could fit anywhere from the classical to a modern day pop hit, My Own Agenda's finest piece to date starts off slowly and subtly, then with a slow introduction of bass, then synth and a electro drum beat, the song transforms into a crescendo of modern day rock with infusions across the genres. The keyboard riff sticks in your head and with its simplicity it becomes infectious. This simplicity in itself is what makes it brilliant. The vocals could almost be compared with Chris Cornell or Corey Taylor with the tones and rasp created, which over the top of the melody and beat, gives the final layer to a tune rich in depth and quality. Brilliantly written and produced it is a very strong single that is already getting critical acclaim and rightly so, a real contender to start making waves for this Birmingham 4 piece who's recent live performances have been kicking up a storm. A very strong song with bags of potential to be a big hit for a very hard working group who's talents go way beyond live performing, they clearly lie also in writing and producing top quality rock songs.
